I'm a new customer here since May 2026 and I'm glad to see this place. I love trying random things from such a market, of foods etc I would otherwise not be able to be exposed to. The shop was indeed well stocked, organized and nice workers. One time when I shopped I was given a free treat with my purchase, so that was unexpected and kind. I am now always looking forward when I get to stop in and try something new. I've tried their herbal teas, seasonings, chips, chocolates and baked goods so far. 👍🏻😁

Having been long time acquaintances of the former owner (when this was Laziza), I frequented this shop a bit. But after not stopping in for a couple of months, I was surprised to learn it changed hands and names. However, upon walking into the new Alexandria's market, it was clear that the place received a promising upgrade. The shelves, freezers, and entire space is stocked full and high of all the fantastic Middle Eastern products that have always been challenging to find locally. They still get the pita and bread delivered weekly from Jacksonville and have even added a plentiful fragrance/cologne section with many Lataffa options, plus many more more sweets, canned and jarred options, and frozen pastries, appetizers, desserts, meat, cheeses and yogurts. Tons of items from Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, and Turkey. The hours of opening have also improved. An added bonus is that the owner/manager, Farouk, is so kind and helpful - even suggesting a premade frozen kunafe from Jordan (which I was skeptical about, as someone who enjoys it homemade) with a "trust me, it's delicious"... And it actually was - even to the point where family actually thought it WAS made from scratch! Top notch

Absolutely love this place! Alexandria Market is a gem in Daytona — super clean, well-organized, and stocked with an awesome variety of Middle Eastern and international goods you can’t find anywhere else around here. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the prices are really fair too. Whether you’re looking for spices, teas, fresh pita, or unique snacks, this store delivers every time. Highly recommend supporting this local business!

The store recently underwent new owners and they’re very personable. They’ve slowly been bringing new items/products so you have plenty of options. I’m eager to see what else they bring and what other changes they’ll make as this is my new go-to market! They also have a location in Orlando if you’re ever in the area, highly recommend.

The owners were soo nice!! The store has new ownership and has upgraded drastically!! So many new items, more options, the music makes you never want to leave, I truly feel like I am back home, my new favorite store, I can’t wait to again! Also they have Egyptian Kahk which you can’t find anywhere else I was so surprised!! Amazing so glad the store is here 🤍
